About Nate

Hi, I'm Nathan! World Nate began as a diary of sorts, a place for me to document my life's journey and share my evolving passions – from surfing and fishing to entrepreneurship and fatherhood. It's been an incredible journey since I first started blogging back in 2013, initially as a way to escape the routine life of plumbing, a profession I stepped into following my family's footsteps. My love for travel and exploration soon turned this blog into a full-time venture, leading me to adventures around the globe and eventually to co-founding CleanPost with my brother, bringing quality cleaning products to New Zealand.

My Story: A Journey of Self-Discovery

I never really knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. The conventional path led me to plumbing, but my heart yearned for something different – to travel and see the world. This longing sparked the creation of World Nate. What started as a platform to share my travel experiences transformed into a full-time career. After 7 years of roaming the globe, I've now settled in Mt. Maunganui, New Zealand, embracing the joys of family life.

A Glimpse Into My World

Outside of blogging, my life is a tapestry of varied interests – from catching waves and casting lines into the ocean to renovating homes and navigating the adventures of fatherhood and entrepreneurship. I share many aspects of this journey here on World Nate.

My Diverse Work Ventures

Media Wing (no direct website as we don’t publicly advertise our services)

With my wife, Hannah, I co-founded Media Wing, a dynamic marketing agency. Our expertise spans a wide range of business marketing needs, and we also leverage our personal websites (worldnate.com & intrepidintrovert.com) and social media accounts to execute effective promotions. Our growth over the years reflects our commitment to connecting brands with their audiences in meaningful ways.

CleanPost NZ (cleanpost.co.nz)

Alongside my brother Jacob, I ventured into the realm of commerce with Clean Post. We specialize in importing and distributing top-tier cleaning products across New Zealand. Operating through cleanpost.co.nz and catering to both retail and wholesale markets, our aim is to provide premium cleaning solutions to every New Zealand household.

Travel Mastery (travelmastery.com)

In collaboration with my long-time friend Jubril, I co-created Travel Mastery. This travel education platform is the culmination of our extensive travel experiences. Our goal is to empower others to travel smarter and more affordably, sharing the wealth of tips and tricks we've gathered over our years of global exploration.

Any fun facts about you? - Despite the recognition as "World Nate," I'm pretty shy. It’s normal for me to take up to a year-long break from social media and work behind the scenes in our business, cherishing my anonymity while promoting cleaning products.

Why World Nate?

This blog is more than just a collection of experiences; it's a source of inspiration and information. From sharing practical advice on choosing the right surfboard to handling the challenges of parenting, my goal is to provide value and insights to my readers. I embarked on this blogging journey with the hope of inspiring others to explore the world, just as I did for seven years.

Indeed, this blog also contributes to my livelihood. It’s a money maker. Every article and social media update is crafted not only to share my journey but also to draw attention to my business partners and ventures. Rest assured, any product or service recommended on my site is offered at no additional cost to you. In fact, I earn a commission from sales made through my links, ensuring that you'll never pay extra, and oftentimes, you might even find a special deal!

Connecting With You

I'm always eager to connect with fellow adventurers and curious souls. While I don't have a subscription list, you can follow my journey on Instagram at @world_nate. Whether it's a comment, a direct message, or a shared story, I look forward to hearing from you and growing our community of explorers, dreamers, and doers.

Anything else?

Lastly, I would not be where I am without my beautiful wife, Hannah. They say home is where the heart is. and I guess that’s why I felt so comfortable living out of a suitcase for 7+ years… Because she’s been with me all along! 🙏
